Albania, You Say?

Yes, I am tentatively planning on doing a follow-on trip to Albania (and, technically, Kosovo) to see some sights there since I’m already in the neighborhood. You are under no obligation to tack this part on, obviously, but in the unlikely event this interests you the rough schedule looks like this:

Sunday 8 August: Arrive Tirana; overnight Tirana.

Monday 9 August: Visit Berat, Gjirokaster, and the Blue Eye; overnight Sarande.

Tuesday 10 August: Visit Buntrint and drive the Lower Coast Road; overnight location on the Albanian Riviera, TBD.

Wednesday 11 August: Drive the Upper Coast Road and visit Apollonia; overnight in Skhoder.

Thursday 12 August to Saturday 14 August: The Albanian Alps 3-day tour (Lake Koman cruise, sightseeing in Valbona, hike to Theth); tour ends in Skhoder.

Sunday 15 August: Drive to Prizren, Kosovo, and visit Kruje en route to Tirana; overnight Tirana.

Monday 16 August: Full day Tirana; overnight Tirana.

Tuesday 17 August: Return to U.S.

How Much Will This Cost?

Not certain, but I would estimate it will add $1000-1500 on to the total cost of the trip.
